Hello everybody! For those of you who don't know, I (one of Indi's doting aunts) recently had the happy happy opportunity of meeting my very beautiful, adorable little niece in Australia! We had so much fun together -- taking walks, drinking coffee (well, that was just me, Nic and Kristina), and roadtrippin' that I wanted to share it with her whole fan club! I hope you enjoy this little snippet of our adventures :)
In these next photos, you can see Indi participating in some of her all-time favorite activities: sink baths, hanging out with Mom, and putting everything and anything –from rubber fish to food to cups and tables– into her mouth to give it a taste! How CUTE are those big, blue eyes!
It should come as no surprise that Indi charms everyone she meets — chuckling, staring, chatting (she tells a lot of emotive stories and also enjoys expressing herself through occasional squeals and deep grumbles — if only we could understand baby language! I think the world could learn a lot from Indi’s stories), and flashing those baby blue eyes and cheeky grin. I couldn’t possibly have fallen more in love with any other little bean.
Indi and I (and often mom and dad too) went on a lot of adventures. She is definitely at her happiest when adventuring — much like mom and dad! I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts running and biking before she starts walking.
Among adventures, Indi and I spent some time at the zoo (she loved watching the seals swim through the water), walked along many a beach (from Freshwater to Manly to Curl Curl to Byron Bay and the most beautiful morning walk on Sapphire Beach!), ate some delicious brunch (Indi likes to taste test everything — from new food to cups and plates and even menus!), and explored Sydney together! Since mom was taking an action learning workshop, Indi and I had two whole days of bonding and exploring. We hung out in parks, walked along the water, visited Dad in his new office, got coffee, got more coffee, and even took a few trips around an art gallery! Indi was very vocal about her appreciation of the art — every time we went in the museum, she had a lottt to say!
Since I had both my digital camera and my film camera, it was too hard not to capture Indi in every medium available — she’s just too cute! Color, black and white, but most of all — real life! Here are some black and white film photos of our adventures.
Here are some last pictures of Indi and I on beach adventures. Needless to say, I can’t WAIT until the next time I can go on some more adventures with my favourite little niece!
I hope you all enjoyed the blog! Until next time! xoxo
